Joanne Fluke, also known as Joanne Fischmann, is a renowned American author who makes a chocolate cake for her readers. She’s, however, best known for her notable work, The Hannah Swenson mystery series.
Joanne is the New York Times bestselling author of the Hannah Swensen mysteries, which started with Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder. Also, she was opportune to have five movies created based on her Hannah Swenson series for the Hallmark Channel. Aside from the series, Joanne has also written other captivating novels, some under different pseudonyms.

1. Chocolate Chip Murder
The first book of the series opens us into Hannah Swenson’s world, the cookie Jar manager. She is faced with the murder of her delivery man and decides to find the culprit responsible.
2. Strawberry Shortcake Murder
Here, she is placed as head judge over a baking competition held in Lake Eden, Minnesota. Her co-judge, Coach Boyd Watson, is, however, murdered. She goes into the life of Boyd and tries to solve the mystery behind his murder.
3. Blueberry Muffin Murder
Once again, Hannah Swenson is faced with the death of Connie Mac. Connie had just gotten the honor of making the Official Winter Carnival Cake but was found dead. Hannah, shocked by the incident, goes into investigations to find the murderer.
4. Lemon Meringue Pie Murder
Hannah is expecting a visitor but is cut short by discovering a resident’s body in the basement. She tries to pin the murder suspect with her only clue- her luscious lemon meringue pies with a slice missing.
5. Fudge Cupcake Murder
Sheriff Grant’s body is found in the dumpster behind a school she taught cooking lessons on weekends. She has to find the culprit to clear Bill’s name.
6. Sugar Cookie Murder
Martin Dubinski arrives with a new wife, a Dallas showgirl who was later found dead. The prime suspect is Martin’s former wife, but Hannah knows more than meets the eye in the case.
7. Peach Cobbler Murder
Magnolia Blossom Bakery, owned by Shawna Lee and Vanessa Quinn, competes with Hannah and cuts into her profits. Unfortunately, things go from bad to worse when Hannah finds Shawna Lee shot in the Magnolia Blossom Bakery.
8. Cherry Cheesecake Murder
Hannah and her bakery bask in the glow of Hollywood glamour when Main Street becomes a movie set. And although tensions simmer as the cameras roll, no one expects the action to turn deadly until it’s too late.
9. Key Lime Pie Murder
Hannah judges the baking contest, acting as a magician’s assistant for her business partner’s husband. And then, she discovers Willa Sunquist, a fellow bake contest judge, dead alongside an upended key lime pie.
