Welcome to Wednesday Links!

We’re starting to get the first whiffs of fall in New England and I’m so ready. The biggest downside is allergies. I never knew fall allergies were a thing until I moved up here and now I get two seasons where I’m a snotty, sneezy mess with awful sinus pressure. It’s absolutely terrible.

In other news, I’m attending a Halloween wedding and I’m so excited to turn my cocktail attired into a fun costume. I have purchased horns!

Buckle up for this saga of one man’s grave error in buying a truck full of rice.

OMG my brother in law, the gift that never stops giving, was tired of being sent to get rice every day so he decided buy in bulk, talked to the shop about it, wires got crossed, now there is a literal TRUCK FILLED WITH RICE outside the house and my sister is losing her shit lmfao

Since we’ve already kicked off Links with a Twitter story. Here is another about a couple’s discovery that a crab has nested in their attic and appears to have been there for quite some time.

actual thing our electrician just said: you have a raccoon nested in your attic. did you guys eat king snow crabs, because he has a bunch of them up there.

(we did not have any snow crabs)

I love comedian Jo Firestone and her new project looks to be so adorable. Starting in March of 2020, she began teach a stand-up class for senior citizens virtually. They were finally able to meet in person and this is their journey from their first workshop to their showcase. The show premieres October 15th.

The Smithsonian American Art Museum has a new exhibit on 19th century Black photographers and their works! The article is a little short, but I hope this is something you can add to your future travel list.

I follow a few drag performers on YouTube and I’m obsessed with this parody series by Olympia. The latest subject: Ina Garten.

Don’t forget to share what cool or interesting things you’ve seen, read, or listened to this week! And if you have anything you think we’d like to post on a future Wednesday Links, send it my way!
