Lucario is a dual Fighting- and Steel-type Pokémon first introduced in Generation IV of the core video games. It is the first and final evolution form of Riolu, a baby Pokémon introduced in Generation IV of the core games; Riolu evolved into Lucario with a high-enough Friendship level.

Lucario is a dual Fighting- and Steel-type Pokémon that is one of its Generation’s mascots; it has also appeared in other video games that are not part of the core Pokémon series. It was first introduced in Generation IV of the video games and holds #448 in the National PokéDex.

Lucario looks like an anthropomorphic wolf inspired by the Egyptian god Anubis. It has three toes on each paw, red eyes, a pointed muzzle, a small mouth showing only its canines, ears pointing upwards, and two pairs of capillary appendages on the back of the head. These play a sensory role and allow him to use the power of the Aura.

His coat is beige at the level of his trunk, blue and black on the rest of his body, and draws him a kind of blue shorts. Its torso is adorned with a steel gray point, like the back of its forelegs, and is framed by two black rings at the shoulders. He stands on tiptoes and balances himself with his mid-length tail. Lucario can perceive any individual’s aura within a radius of over 1 kilometer, which greatly helps him identify enemies or stalk prey.

This power allowing him to anticipate the thoughts and movements around him, he can also disturb him according to the information of which he becomes aware. He understands the language of humans, and can communicate with them via the aura like a telepath. In combat, Lucario not only attacks melee, but also from a distance, projecting his own aura, mainly in the form of spheres.

When her aura intensifies, she radiates her whole body a bright blue. This phenomenon is observed in particular during its transformation into Mega Lucario, which is also the first case of Pokémon having mega-evolved. The Lucario are renowned for their pride, sense of justice, and unwavering loyalty to a righteous Trainer.

They are very rarely seen in the wild, as most of the time they hide in the mountains for training. The fact that they hunt in packs suggests a carnivorous diet, but they can just as easily eat anything.
