Mark Ruffalo Shares His Excitement For Marvel’s Hawkeye

Hawkeye, the newest Marvel’s Disney+ show premiered this week with the first two episodes, and as the fans are sharing their thoughts on social media, actors from other parts of Marvel Cinematic Universe are sharing their excitement because the newest MCU series is finally on.

Vincent D’Onofrio, who played the villain Kingpin in the TV show Daredevil recently shared on Twitter that he’s excited for the Hawkeye, which was enough for some fans to be sure that he’ll reprise the role in the series. Theoretically, that could be the case, but he never specifically said he’ll return, only that he’s excited about the series, so we’ll wait for some official confirmations about that one.

Now, a day after the first two episodes emerged on Disney+, Mark Ruffalo, known to Marvel fans as Bruce Banner/Hulk since The Avengers (2012), now shared on Instagram an image with his colleague Jeremy Renner, who plays Clint Barton/Hawkeye, sending love and celebration to him due to the premiere of Hawkeye. After all, although he’s an MCU veteran, Renner never got the chance in the solo project until now, so it’s understandable why Ruffalo wants to congratulate him.

Mark Ruffalo debuted as Bruce Banner in the 2012 movie The Avengers, and he reprised the role in Avengers: Age of Ultron, Thor: Ragnarok, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame. He also appeared in post-credit scenes of Iron Man 3 and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. He’s also set to appear in the upcoming Disney+ series She-Hulk.

Hawkeye aired the first two out of six episodes so far. The show us how is Clint Barton doing in the post-Endgame era and introduced us to the brand new character Kate Bishop, played by amazing Hailee Steinfeld. The first two episodes served as an introduction, and it looks like there’s plenty more to come in the remaining four episodes. In the last scene of the second episode, Alaqua Cox made her debut as Echo, a character that’s set to be introduced in this series before she gets her own spin-off show on Disney+.

Created by Jonathan Igla, Hawkeye is also starring Tony Dalton, Fra Fee, Brian d’Arcy James, Aleks Paunovic, Piotr Adamczyk, Linda Cardellini, Simon Callow, Vera Farmiga, Florence Pugh will reprise the role of Yelena Belova from the Black Widow movie. Next episode is coming next Wednesday.
