The National Space Centre in Leicester has the ideal Valentine’s Day experience for Star Wars fans with a screening of the film that started itv all, Star Wars: A New Hope.
The Leicester attraction has been given special permission to host a one-off screening of the movie that started one of the biggest movie franchises of all times, Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope.
Visitors can sit back in the UK’s largest planetarium and enjoy the movie on the big cinema screen.
You’ll be able to watch as Luke Skywalker joins forces with a Jedi Knight, a cocky pilot, a Wookiee and two droids to save the galaxy from the Empire’s world-destroying battle station, while also attempting to rescue Princess Leia from the mysterious Darth Vader.
The screening is suitable for families, friends, couples and everybody who wants to show their Valentine love for this popular film.
Malika Andress, spokesperson for the National Space Centre, said: “We love Star Wars and we couldn’t think of a better way to bring everybody together to enjoy the movie together on Valentine’s Day. You don’t need to be in a couple to celebrate this special day, as we are making it all about the love of the Force.”
