So Far, ‘No Time To Die’ Earned More Than $300 Million Worldwide

  • by

During the opening weekend, Daniel Craig’s last movie as James Bond earned $56 million domestically, but over $257 million in the rest of the world, which was, when you put it together, quite enough for the movie to cross $313 million at the global box-office against the reported budget of $250-300 million. It’s needed to point out that the movie still hasn’t opened in China, where it will be released at the end of this month.

Although opening numbers seem pretty impressive, especially considering the time we live in, it’s an interesting fact that the movie didn’t manage to reach $60 million domestically as it was expected before the release. It is also the second-worst domestic opening for Craig’s Bond movie. Casino Royale, which was released 15 years ago, made only $40 million, while Skyfall remains on top with $88 million on the opening weekend domestically. We repeat that these comparisons are only for the opening weekend domestically and only for Bond movies starring Craig.

Directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, No Time To Die stars Daniel Craig in his final appearance as James Bond. It also stars Rami Malek, Léa Seydoux, Lashana Lynch, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, Jeffrey Wright, Christoph Waltz, and Ralph Fiennes.
