If you liked NBC’s thriller shows like Blindspot, The Blacklist, and The Enemy Within, this is the show for you. Morena Baccarin is the main star of the upcoming heist thriller drama series The Endgame, which will premiere on NBC On February 21.
Morena Baccarin, known for the role of Vanessa in Deadpool, as well as TV shows Gotham, Mentalist, and Homeland, is set to make a return on small screens in The Endgame, NBC’s thriller drama show in which she’s set to star alongside Ryan Michelle Bathé.
In the short first look, we see the FBI transporting a huge box, a sort of a portable prison cell, out of which, Baccarin soon steps out. Quite a fancy prison transport, we’d say. Instead of jumpsuits and cuffs, the prisoner doesn’t even need to leave the cell to be transported. Wow.
Baccarin is playing Elena Federova, a criminal mastermind who was just recently apprehended. But even behind bars, or thick walls in this case, she still has an ambitious plan – to orchestrate several bank heists in New York City. FBI agent Van Turner, played by Bathé, is on the other side, and her only goal is to make sure Federova’s plan won’t succeed.
Fast & Furious director Justin Lin directed a pilot and he serves as the executive producer. The show is also starring Costa Ronin, Jordan Johnson-Hinds, Kamal Bolden, Noah Bean, and Mark Damon Espinoza.
The Endgame will premiere on February 21, 2022. You can check the first look down below:
